Lumina Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Lumina apps, website, AI features, reading tools, accounts, and subscriptions.

If you do not accept these Terms, do not use Lumina.

1. Acceptance

By using Lumina, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Lumina for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Scripture, Devotionals, and AI

Lumina provides Bible reading, devotionals, reading plans, notes, search, and AI-assisted tools. AI content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. It is not professional, medical, legal, mental health, pastoral, or emergency advice. Use it as a study aid and verify important matters with Scripture and trusted people.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features may be offered through Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the provider that billed you. Refunds are handled according to the applicable store or payment provider rules.

5. User Content

You keep ownership of notes, journal entries, reflections, highlights, and other content you submit. You grant Lumina a limited license to host, process, display, sync, and back up that content only to operate, secure, and improve the service.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse Lumina, interfere with the service, bypass quotas or security, scrape or reverse engineer the software, upload unlawful or harmful content, infringe third-party rights, or use Lumina output to train competing AI systems.

7. Privacy and Consent

Use of Lumina is subject to the Privacy Policy. Some features require consent, including AI analysis and summaries. You can manage supported consent preferences in the app.

8. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion in the app or on the web. Deleting your account may remove access to synced data and some paid or personalized features.

9. Third-Party Services and Content

Lumina may rely on app stores, payment processors, authentication providers, AI providers, cloud services, and Bible or publishing content providers. Their terms and policies may also apply. You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate others' rights.

10. Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, or availability. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Lumina is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
